Matt says that this was taken somewhere near Shakedown Street in
Grand Rapids, Michigan. I’m not familiar with that area of town, but I assume you take a left off Highway 61…

pretty bus. I live in Northern California and we still paint our cars and buses like this. I painted a big red white and blue heart /flag on the front hood of my truck and everyone smiled when I drove by… some saluted… a picture is at: http://gregvanderlaan.com/eye.aspx it’s done with standard artists acrylic paint… sure it fades with time but once every 5 years touchup isn’t too much trouble…
