Owner Ray Wilson says a man is coming this weekend to start demolition. Ray says the guy offered to pay him for it (the timbers in these old structures can be quite valuable) but he said he would be just glad to have it gone. The foundation is beyond saving and parts of the structure are leaning already, so better to take it down before it becomes a safety issue.

The look of barns, and pastoral scenes in general, give a soothing and a calmness to this lady who still can’t get overly used to so many changes in our work a day world and in the world I live in in general.
