In 2021, I posted 232 photos of the Great Lakes State along with exactly 35,693 words that were viewed on Facebook, Twitter & here nearly 2 million times! Wow that’s quite a journey! FYI I lived in Vegas for 3 years & the experience of not being around water & trees that change color & snow was one of the prime reasons for me starting Michigan in Pictures!!
PS: Hope you get to check out some of the views at Red Rocks. Love hiking out there (though “out there” is WAY closer to Vegas than it was when I lived there).

Thanks for your comment! I was near Red Rock Canyon recently and have hiked the area over the years. I do miss snowmobiling but find that I don’t tolerate the cold weather well these days. It’s too nice here to go back to Michigan other than visiting family.

All beautiful images of the Mitten State. I think the fury of the waves and spray against the Frankfort Lighthouse is my favorite, though they are all so representative of the Great Lakes State and belong in a “Pure Michigan” commercial!
