Lake Charlevoix is the greatest sailing lake for small sailboats. Great steady winds and little surf. The two arms offer extensive travel choices for boaters. Having been a camper and a counselor at Camp Charlevoix on Oyster Bay was perfect for the camp. There were sunken boats to explore, the drop off close to shore just across from the camp was a choice for an afternoon’s swim and campfire. It seemed like the little cove was a private lake for the camp.

Spectacular! We drove through that area a few weeks ago, but too soon for the fall color. A reason to return someday!
